My family and I are looking for information on how to find out if our soilder is ok. He left for Camp Casey Aug 17th and we still have not heard from him. Is this typical? How do we find out if he is alright? We have been told that it is typically for soliders not to contact their family when sent to Camp Casey because there are so many fun things to do but we all feel that he would have contacted us briefly to let us know he was ok. We have tried going through his recruiting officer and the Red Cross. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know how old your Soldier is, but he may be living it up not worrying about what is going on back home. If you went through Red Cross and still haven't heard from him, then it sounds like he is ignoring you. Do you know his unit, have you tried writing him?
