Sudan being used to win election?

The news is saying that Bush is using the Genocide in the Sudan to win the election. But didn't he still do the right thing? It is genocide after all. Here is a link to the news item:

Don't be mislead by the media or the Politicians claiming that Bush is using the Sudan for political purposes. Sudan still participates in such things as slavery, forced child labor and religious persecution. They deny their citizens the basic rights that we hold so dear. The goverenment bureaucrats who run such goverenments live like kings while the general population lives in abject poverty. The last thing they want is for someone, anyone to shine a spot light on them and expose them for what they really are.

If you've not traveled in the third world areas of the world you need to take a trip and talk with the people who live there. Their government may not want us to interfer, but I can promise you they do!

It is never wrong to stand up aginst slavery, oppression, and out right evil.

The problem is that if he does something about the situation, they will say he is politicizing the conflict for his benefit. If he does nothing, his opponents will point out how he has allowed the genocide of many Africans to occur in order to capture the same voters, they are accusing him of going after.
