Message to soldiers?

A friend of mine was wanting to send a message to a friend of hers who is deployed overseas. Is there a way to send a message to a certain person? If so, how do you go about getting the necessary info? I would imagine you would have to send it to a local office somewhere and they would then route it to the soldiers?

Depending on where he/she is at they may have access to e-mail. I had a friend who was overseas and we communicated by e-mail some. If not, perhaps the parents (or a close family member) of the individual would have their mailing address. I was able to send packages over there without having to have anyone route them for me.
