Hey, does anyone know any information on a young nurse thinking about joining the army?? Information like-sign on bonus'? would I be going into the army as an officer? how is officer's training? do i have a choice on where I'd be stationed? ect ect...

hello casey, in reference to your question as far as a signing bonus that depends on the time of year if there is a bonus available for the medical field and job position (which also depends if the army is badly in need of those personnels). To get in as an officer you need to have a certain amount of college hours which i believe starts from 60-120hrs. Before any of that you have to qualify for the position by taking the tests at meps, from there your recruiter will show you all the jobs you qualify for.

From what I have heard, there are great bonuses for everybody in the medical field right now, talk to a recruiter ASAP to get all the info you need. Goarmy.com is a great resource for recruiter info, they will locate one for you and you can even chat live with recruiters there.
