Hi My boyfriend is in bootcamp right now and will graduate in Aug. he said he will be able to come home for a week before he goes back for the rest of his training in Virginia for 11 weeks... But now in his letters it makes it sound like he wont be coming home for a week after grad.! Do they usually come home for a week after grad.?? Is there any chance that he wouldn't come home?? Please give me all the info. on this! Thank you!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If school dates hit back to back, he won't be coming home. Once his is settled in school - you can go and visit him on a weekend.

Generally after AIT soldiers come home for 2 weeks to assist their recruiter HRAP, which takes all of a couple hours, so it is essentially a 2 week vacation to see family and friends before going to their first duty station. Coming home after BCT, befoer AIT depends wholey on the dates of schooling, as mentioned before.
