It's hard to describe, but pictures/TV doesn't do Cindy McCain justice. She is very stunning in person. Megan wrote a children's book about her dad's life story. She has a blog that's interesting to read. |

Yes Cindy is a beautiful woman,she and her daughter were on the View.. I think McCain also..very nice people. "Megs" seems like a very smart woman, since you talked to her personally, then you know what I mean. She sat in for one of the women one day (the View). I hear you about that loyalty.. Back in 2007 when Romo couldn't hold the ball for the winning kick with Seattle in the Playoff game..guess I never got over it...lol (19 yds. and he drops the ball)...  Never forget that.
My son picks on me about that all the time..BIG COWBOYS FAN..guess it's time to get some faith back in those "Boys".. I hear they're back. Maybe I'll surprise him this week and actually cheer them on.. he'd like that, and they deserve it. |

Ahhh, the view is kinda cool when their not being PC. Megs is my girl.She's got the spirit of her pops and the grace of her moms. She's a pistol. She only backs up the things she knows.Loyalty is a great virtue.The people who aren't afraid to make a stand for themselves, family and friends are my kind of people.Lordy knows we have plenty of ppl who can talk a good game. How many ppl actually come through for you? The John (Wayne) Mc Cain family is proud for good reasons. And, I like that. I know. I feel the same way about my family / friends.
I just remember beating the cowboys in the playoffs in 2007. I thought to myself. Go Giants! bring on the Packers. lol. We beat the Cowboys/ The Packers /and The Patroits to win it all. Have fun cheering them cowboys on. The bad a-ss Raiders are playing The Cowboys @ 16:00 hrs and The NY Giants are playing Denver @ 2000 hrs on Turkey Day! It's a great match up. Im just happy to be home for Turkey Day..

I never got to meet her. She came to town, but I was tied up. When I met the McCains, I practically gushed at Cindy.  I was just like WOW.
You know what sucks? Mark Salter was there too. And I own Faith of my Fathers and a couple others. And forgot them at home.  But at least both my kids have Soldier's Bibles that he signed.
I got to drive in the motorcade one of the times they were in town. (I had the local press and a secret service guy) It was insane! Doing 90+, swerving around everyone. Crazy. One guy didn't realize and came up on us. My SS agent was directing the police, and they boxed him in. I think the guy peed himself. Then we came off a connector into heavy traffic and cars were mixing in. Worst part was I didn't know where we were going because they didn't want the local press to know in advance.
I'll pm you a link to the article about it. The writer is a friend of mine, so he left out the part where I hit a pole. It was the staties' fault though. funny story. Still haven't lived it down at the office.

Good morning! Today we have a busy day, going to a craft fair, taking the kids to the post museum and then we get to come home and work on more of the house while we wait for the dishnetwork technician to come fix our stuff. This evening I have an event at church I have to speak at. Busy, busy day...but am so thankful to be able to spend it with my whole family.
