Default Why are we not helping Pakistan?

The president of Pakistan has helped the west in its war aginst Terror .Why is the west so reluctant to help the injured and homeless in the wake of this disaster ?
Are we confusing Bin Ladens hiding place with a genuine need for help?

Nice.

Is this Condazilla Rice's way of maintaining a good relationship with these folks'.

I have a foster child in northern Pak. and I can't find out a damn thing about him right now.

Another head shaker posted by Texas.

Thank you, thank you...just bewildering.

Cheers

Question

Are you bashing the US for not helping more? Because if you are, you are greatly mislead. Just wanted to get a little clarification.

I'm complaining that I can't find my foster child.

Your pretty paranoid by the way.

Please clarify Clive . Apparently they don't need food, they need tents and medical equipment .People are having limbs amputated due to infection ,because nobody is getting the correct supplies there.I can't help but think that the world is reluctant to help ,because of the obvious area in which this disaster has taken place !

That does seem to be the over riding feeling in the west . If it were otherwise we would have sent more aid !

I believe the UK has donated alot of help, money ,Helicopters etc . But I believe we do this to keep our Pakistani population subdued . We don't want relations to get worse internally ...

US isn't "thrilled" to death about helping another disaster. We are fighting a war. I'ld say we've spread out a lot this year to help out disaster victims. Part of the problem with getting aide into Pakistan is the transportation system which is in shambles. Interesting fact: whenever a disaster, of any sort, strikes a country or region with strong Judao-Christian values, the casualties are at a tenth of what they are when such an event happens in a region where such values are not present. God protects His people.

(Don't mean to perenoid )
