Default women snipers

im not gonna bother asking what peoples opinion of women in the army is cause ive heard it a million times before but there are more than enough women capable of doing what men say we cant, like me,ive been a pro target shooter for 7 years and fired my first shot when my daddy put a rifle in my hands at 5 years.I can run a mile in 6min 57secs and have walked 100km to raise funds for charity.Having 5 brothers currently serving in the army i kinda feel left out,but i aint cut out to be no pen pusher or a nurse in a silly dress,so what do i do?I'd give my right arm to be a sniper like my eldest brother Nathan, hes served for 5 years and has 9 confirmed kills to his name.I'm not affraid to die,im not affraid to kill,i'm not affraid of stress or physical hardship, hell, lifes been hard as it is.I wanna do somthin good with my life, use my talent for somthin worthwhile.I cant ask my brothers cause one, there away, and two, they just laugh and tell me to 'get a job as a security guard or somethin'! a**holes.

some advise please.

Plenty of jobs in the Army for females that do not have them pushing pens or wearing dress. I suggest you do a little research, you also need to mature a bit, I think.

Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for.

will they really laugh? are u sure?

if what u say is true u seems to be in a nice condition!.. everything is possible... ask a recruiter for some more information maybe? seems like the most logical thing to do...

This attitude is exactly why you will never go anywhere. Pull your head out of your fourth point of contact, do some research on the jobs that are available to women and grow up a bit. There are plenty of women that can and do serve their country honorably in jobs that require more than pushing a pen - and they do it proudly, without complaining about it not being good enough.

Btw, nurses in the military haven't worn dresses for years now - they may look funny on the many male nurses we have.

No Tiny im not your wife, i like men!

Tacky your advise go's hand in hand with your name, dont give up your day job.

Morten, seeing as you've been the only one with anything useful to say,i thank you.
I spoke to a recruiter like you said,i gave him the lowdown on everything i want from an army career and he said id be better off waiting until the governement lifts the ban on frontline female combatants, which is on the cards apparentley, along with a couple of new mixed sex battalions,so i might get to fulfill my dream after all.

self-control, patience etc are qualities for a good sniper no? when I read you, you give me the impression of a person who puts herself easily in anger? but I wish you good luck.
