My situation is I had a pilot slot in the Air Guard that was taken away. I want to fly Army helos more than anything and I was wondering for board purposes if it would be better to stay in my unit as an enlisted member go to Air Guard basic training and then apply for the WAFT program.
~OR~
Forget all that extra stuff... get out of the Air Guard and apply and focus on the WAFT program? I really appreciate any insight or experience before hand. I guess I am worried what the board will think if I did not stay with my unit to apply for the program.
Thank you,
