Default AF Vet

Hello all,

I'm an Air Force vet from California hoping to, at some point, obtain the necessary waiver(s) to enter the Army Reserve or National Guard. I'm 23 years old and served in the USAF from Jun '01 through Nov '03, which included a tour to Saudi Arabia. I was honorably discharged for administrative purposes (Air Force RE Code 2C), which, in and of itself, requires a waiver. I know I've got 11 years to re-enter active duty and 19 years to enter the Reserve...so I'm hopeful that between now and then I can get back into the Service.

I hope y'all enjoy my company here and dont find me too annoying.

Thumbs up Welcome over to the better side!

I just got back in the Army after 10 1/2 years out. I had to go thru the Warrior Transition Course that you will when you re-up. We had some good, some bad and some terrible priors from all branches. If you are up to the job and willing to fight, I'm all for you coming over to our side. Before going to Ft Knox, I'd advise you get into tip-top shape. The Drill Sergeants don't care that we are old and frail, they smoke us just like they would a 17 year old straight from momma's apron strings. Any idea what MOS you'll be?
