Search the forum for 18X contract. I have discussed it and given details about the contract and pipeline a few times.

For info on SF stuff try goarmy.com/special_forces or go to the Fort Bragg website's Special Forces section. They're all public access.

How is it you could not find this information on the sites given to you? It is there, in print.

SF is only interested in self starters.. those with inititive.

http://www.bragg.army.mil/specialforces/criteria.htm

I found the requirements on that page in 5 seconds.

As for "getting into SF" with an 18X contract. 18X simply gets your foot into the door. YOU have to do the work. All the contract does is guarantee you infantry OSUT, a chance at BAC and a chance to pass SFAS. (Look them up if you don't know what they mean).

If you pass all of those, you'll attend the SFQC, pass that, and you'll be an SF soldier. Don't and you'll be humping rucks with the infantry.
