Where you go to basic depends on your MOS.

hi, may i take the chance to join the forum and ask a question for those anyone here had already experienced in this job 25P MOS, this service is Microwave system operator and maintainer. I surely like this MOS and definitely on this coming July or August, i will look and go to the recruitement and sign a contract for it.

Okay this are my Question:

Which and what fort will go for BCT for 25P MOS?

How many months/weeks in the AIT for 25P MOS?

What particular fort i will be assign on this MOS25P after my BCT and AIT?

And also, I know the fact that this MOS 25P have enlistment bonus in 5th and 6th level, and some body here told me that this bonus will be granted to me after my BCT/AIT, correct me if im wrong. This is why i need someone here had have the knowledge and experienced ( much better if a recruiter ) will fill me some information regarding to this MOS 25P.

Thanks in advance everyone.

There's no telling where you'll be posted. It all depends on the demand for that MOS. I think you can request a fort but it's not garanteed (sp).

I'm not sure when bonuses are granted but I know you get half of it sometime then the other half is split up into your paychecks. Here's a link if you want any more info on that MOS.

For an 18X MOS you would go to Fort Benning for OSUT (BCT and AIT at the same fort). Which I believe is a total of 17 weeks.

Fort Benning, Georgia. Basic training and AIT. I think 12 or 13 weeks.
