Default Don't Give Up

i just got back from the recruiter today. we went over my line scores and the lowest one i had was a 125 the rest where in the 130 area. that was a great start, so when it came to the point for me to chose a job i wanted Special Forces and it wasn't offered. we spent an hour to find out that i have to be 20y.o. to get it and the person at "ROC" chewed out my rectuiter about my age. well we spent 3 hours finding out that you can go option 40 with option 70 to go the long way of ranger then try for SF. just as we where finding this out they called back saying they will let me start basic and AIT right away and by the time i finish i will be 20 for SFAS. it took a long time and alot of trying dead ends but we got it. if you want your job then you need to show it and commit.

the main advise i have to everyone is research the MOS you want and know every inch of that job. they even wanted me to go MP simply because i was the first person they found that had that job right off the bat. if you know what you want and let them see your retermination they wont quit till you at least know what you need for the job.

good luck to everyone and i will post about MEPS when i get back on sat.

Well congradulations once again man.... you made it through step one.... I would prepare for the training, and look forward to the tactical end of it... from what I know of Ranger school in the states, its very tactical and interesting if you can hack the pace.... good luck man!!...
