Question Backing OUT?

Hi. What should one (not saying if it's me or someone else...) do If they enlisted without any real thought to the matter, Signed all the appropriate paper work and slept on it for a week. This person is supposed to start boot camp in June.

What type of steps can this person take if they no longer want to join? What happens if they just don't show up at boot camp? Will they be charged?

-->CONFUSED

Default Never late

You can even back up after the training , so before attending it will not be an issue at all.
Get with recruiter and tell him that you`re having some changes in your life and that's about it.
Good luck

You would get an ELS (entry level seperation), your recruiter willnt be happy with you because from their POV you wasted their time and it might affect you negatively should you decide you ever want to go in. I think you would get an RE-3 renlistment code maybe an RE-4, depends on the branch. You would have to ask your recruiter about that one.

Look at you ! instead of trying to speak for a woose , why not join the army your self . what? you think paying taxes is enough ? but you can seat here and speak for some one scare s... l... to join the army . I see people out there that where not even born here having more balls then you two put together . your right i! would never except fighting next to a woose like your self , and the guy you speak for . ARMY OF ONE HOAH!

P.S
by the way it's shouldn't = shudnt moron !
something = somthing ..

do you get it why some one like me belongs in the army , and not you ....

Wait, let me get this straight...YOU are telling ME to be more respectful??? Come on man....get real. By the way, I am almost 30 years old so i would appreciate you not calling me 'kid'. If you are going to talk to people the way you do then you better be prepared for some opposition...don't dish it if you can't take it.

Well when I said kid! You proved my point almost! 30!. Oh! About the better part na! I don’t think so. When I left my comment on this forum I was expecting for the little kid to come back and defend him self. I was not trying to start a cat fight with the weaker sex. I can tell you what ever you want to throw at me trust! me I can take it. I just don’t think is smart for me to change the topic when this is not about you, nor about what I can or can’t handle. If I seat here and keep typing back and forth with you let me tell you right now it will be nothing but a waste of time. One because you are going to make this about you. 2. You are the weaker sex and I am not interested on what you have to say because to me it will mean nothing but a beep! And a blah!. Plus I know how predictable the weaker sex is. Next thing you know you will start by trying to use the female personality a blih! Here and a blah! There that will get us no where. Once again people if you are joining the army Do it because you feel it in your heart you want to. Other wise you will end up like person in question on this topic. I’ve wanted to do this for the longest time but never had the chance. Now I feel very strong about it and I will go forward with it no matter what it takes. Joining the army is not to be popular or so you can look cute in uniform. It’s to step up to the plate and say here I am to serve and protect our country. If had the chance right now and my recruiter will call me saying ok! Are you ready? I will say let’s do it with no thoughts! In my mind because this is what I! Want. By the way I apologize to every one for the incident in this topic. When serious issues like this one come across it’s not wise to seat here and clown around. In the front lines every one’s life matters and I don’t want any of the females to take this to personal. I am just not about to seat here and do this with a girl. It just would not make any sense! Plus there is a lot of topic in here that need to be taken seriously that’s all. When a girl is looking for some entertainment sorry! I am just wrong person, look for some one else.
