Default Saudi's Funding Sunni Isurgents

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061208/...surgency_saudi

The otherside of the violence.

It's not surprising really. Considering that many of the rich families in Saudi support Al Qadea and other Sunni radical groups.

If Saudi Arabia wants to be recognized as the moderate Islamic country they claim to be the royal family needs to step up and prove it. Instead of denying that their citizens are funneling money to the insurgency they should crack down on it. To defeat radical Islam we need those in power in Muslim nations who claim to be moderates (like Saudi Arabia) to lead by example and start rooting out the problem. Cracking down on radical clerics that spread hate would be one hell of a start.

Old news Onepoint, Bin Laden secured 200m$ from the Saudi Royal family in return for Al Quada not targeting US assets in Saudi... Nothing new there... They need to be cut off, but what we did here in Ireland is wash aside the legal quagmire with a law, and got a new law that allows a new Bureau whos Identity is withheld from the public to seize assets of criminals without due process of proving their crimes.... they just account assets, and lodge a seizure order... one document does the job, and the bad guys get their assets seized, thus paralying their ability to make trouble.. very effective in our dealings with Parimilitiaries... One man stands as the public face with an Army of accountants and police behind him... it does work.. A gangland leader work 9million euros is reduced to driving a taxi to survive, CAB took EVERYTHING... now THAT makes me happy...

Its one big game to many of these oil rich nations... as long as its in somebody elses backyard.... funny... for nations that subscribe to Islam and the strong sense of social justice it carries, they seem to lack any sense of social justice when it comes to regional politics....

My point exactly.... I cant understand how the attitude and culture of the Middle east is so hyprocritical when its comes to its neigbours and fellow Muslims.... The west does more then the locals to help... boils down to the different values we have and what is perceived to be a worthwhile activity....
