"Return with your shield or on it " - Not even a Spartan Mother could forgive cowardice....

The 300 Spartans, ...the original is like forty years old. I'll check it out next week. The fighting scenes were the best and ahead of it's time ...then. I can only imagine what the fighting must be like in the new one. Awesome.

Not out here yet, but did you know that Spartans training in groups believed that homosexuality between master and apprentice increased battle prowess... watch your *** lads, here comes the commander!!...

I thought that the Spartans never condoned Homosexual acts. They always called the Rest of the Greeks "Boy Lovers."

No, they all did it... their society was the most regimented in the ancient world... an SAS of the Greek army if you will.. but they indulged in the practice of mentoring and buggering their boy apprentices in the belief that it aids unit cohesion... well it does litarally I suppose...

They were FIERCE... their whole society was geared up for war.... A norm for the era, pedophilia in todays world....

I did. Any guy who sees this movie and basically doesn't cream them self should be shunned from society.
