Default [IF] the US and Canada went to war...

Not that I have any personal grudges against canada or anything, nor canadians, so for those who enjoy flaming people for senseless reasons, Read this CAREFULLY, This is NOT a flaming topic.

I myself have wondered quite often, if we ( The United States of America) went to war with our neighboor to the north, what would be the outcome of such a war.

And this is a clean sheet for the US, meaning we are not in War with Iraq anymore, have reclaimed all troops in the US.

I've read around, seeing how canada has a smaller military then that of the US's, they are able to train each individual soilder to a greater extent then to the average US soilder.

Would we beable to hold of the line that borders the two countries?

This is just some constructive thinking, I am not trying to start an arguement, so please post constructive thinking.

what are you trying to do but start an argument? lol.. no offense.

every nation is very delicate about thease matters..
but to make it clear to you with one strict strike of wisdom:

US would win. every scenario.
but the even funnier thing would be the fact how we Eurpeans would react to it.

unfortunately *for you* that wouldn't be the only thing where you would be claiming casualties at that unfortunate time.

now i really would want to drop the subject. since there is a long line of co-operation with us.
and this particular matter is represented by 15-year old i would say quits. at this point.
but if you really want to know what i think about this...
we would fry you for doing against the sole princepals your COUNTRY!

but this is and remains as my own opinion on this matter.

You would rule the Sky and our Coast. You would never successfully ocupy our Country without killing us off in vast numbers. Our geography is too big for you to control. What would you have, a soldier for every 20 square miles of populated territory.

You would increase your geography. You economy would buckle, and we would blow up anything that provides anything to your country. That leaves most of corporate America I nthe dark. That being the East. From Main to near Florida.

I think that the world would see to it, that if you crushed our country, they would crush yourse. Of course, that is likely the end of all of us.

1) ...to get the good bacon
2) ...to teach them to say "out" properly. Not "oot".

All due respects to the Canadian sniper teams... doing great things in Afghanistan.

Why is my age a factor in this, this thread is out of curiousity, not "Omg we would own canada so hard.".

It's kind of those re-assurance type things you know, knowing what would go on if anything like that did happen.

I was reading (again) and I put money on Qubec trying to ally with the US against canada.

And again, I <3 canadians and am not segregating them in anyway,

There is a reason to the big [IF] in the thread title.

if the topic is not of interest then...go away :S, -I don't wanna hear if you like it or not.
