Default This is pretty damn disturbing

British Respect Camps!!!

I actually first heard about this when I was driving from Miami to Newport RI (my duty station for 2 years). I think this is some pretty *****ed stuff to be happening in a democratic country. It seems to impede on freedom doesn't it?

Could some Europeans help out the North Americans and tell us for yourself how much of a social problem rogue Muslims and other immigrants are in your countries?

From what I catch on the news, they make it seem like your half conquered by a peaceful invasion. France the worst. For that problem. I don't know though. I'll trust what ya say.

It's better than waiting for them to **** up and then sticking them all in prison, like we do.
So yea I'd say it's a better alternative.

9,000 families have been moved into these camps. They lose their houses, cars ect... to be re-educated to behave socially!!! I'm not one for the whole conspiracy crap, but I'd say this is a point for the conspiracy freaks.

Yea, dunno if its a good idea, maybe letting the problem develop in the first place should be looked at and fixing it in a manner that doesnt create more problems then it fixes... Well I suppose time will tell... cos something like that could easily be abused by govt... very easily... history is littered with examples..

If they were in prison, they'd lose some things as well. There are some implied obligations for everyone living and participating in society regardless of how free that society is. We all need to have restraints on our behavior. We need to conform and assimilate to a certain degree--even though we might tell ourselves we are not conformists or assimilationists. So, if a government feels that it can better serve it's citizens by re-educating certain deviants--so be it.

Comform, control. obey...sounds like a scifi movie. The world is changing so fast that you can't keep up sometimes...I agree with Steady, if this is what needs to be done in order to get the ppl in line with laws and in gear so they can live productive lives! so be it.

What does anyone think of our new immigration laws the lawmakers are trying to get signed? only the educated and skilled need apply! I guess their all leaving.

How does an immigrant go home and pay five k...only to come back without his family? don't get me wrong...we need to do something cus it's getting out of control. Is this the answere maybe?
I say if their here illegally....then send them home....by any means....for security and health reasons. Our laws must be respected.
