Default meps

hey i just wanted to let everyone know i just got out of MEPS today........i qualified for all the medical stuff and was sworn in. Im a senior this year so i leave for fort benning next year on July 2. Thanks for all the help guys

Have another chat with the recruiter. 11X is infantry, not medical. If you sign a contract for infantry, it will require God and his brother to switch to anything else... even if you get out and try to re-enlist.

Then when you say "qualifed for all the medical stuff" you mean you passed your physical?
11X is unassigned infantry. The ranger option is just that, the Armys option. If there is a shortage, then you get to go to Ranger school.
You could very easily become a mortar man or a ground pounder.
You better have that talk with your recruiter, make sure you get what you want in writing. If he gets angry, screw him. It's your life not his.

it says infantry recruit on my job title........RIP school is what is guaranteed on my contract. If i fail RIP school i fall back as an Airborne Infantryman

It would be cool to go to the 173rd Airborne in Italy for your first duty station. Travel throughout Europe.
