Green berets are the color of the berets for Special Forces soldiers. Your husband is not a Special Forces soldier, he would have had to attended several selection courses as well as several MOS and SF qualification courses. This would have taken him approx. two years. He would also have an 18 series MOS, he would not be an MP.
Your husband is lying to you. As an MP, he's just that .. military police. He's not doing "covert" operations or "Top secret" stuff. He's a liar, plain and simple.
His comments concerning Iraq have nothing to do with him being in Special Forces, because he isn't. He's a conventional regular Army military police pogue pretending to be more than he is.
I suggest you call him on his lies right now and make him admit to you. If not, PM me his name, and I'll make sure his command know about his little game, I'll also set up a meeting between him and some real "green berets," so they can adjust his cowardly attitude.
Frankly, you've married a lying piece of **** .. and my advice for you would be to divorce him and move on. It's only going to get worse from here.
Also, your husband isn't contacting you because he doesn't want to, not because he can't. There's nothing going on for an MP in Germany that would prevent him from being in contact with you.
