Default New to Army life

Hi I just wanted to introduce myself. My husband and I got married on September 1, 2007 and he left for basic in Fort Leonard Wood on October 11, 2007. Apparently on our honeymoon I fattened him up so he was 5 pounds overwieght for his first time that he was supposed to leave which was on September 20, 2007. I miss him so much and I know that I should have joined this site when he first joined but I didn't know about it. The one thing that bugs me about the Army is how they write the date it's just different I guess. Since we're both new I guess he got used to it faster than I did. We were prepared about how they tell time because we're both on a volunteer fire department, here in Ohio, and because everything has to be done a certain way, military time was used not to confuse AM and PM.

Hoping to get to know other people,
Enlowswife
