Default 365 Deployment Days (a wifes survival story)

Have you herd of this book? Well if not you should look it up. The title of the book is 365 Deployment Days a wifes survival story.. The author of the book is an Army Wife and her name is Sara Dawlt... Anyways one day I was watching Fox News (what I am not suppose to do well everyone tells me not to watch the news BECAUSE they only cover what is BAD going on over seas and with my hubby deploying soon I agree...) Anyways I was just about to change the chanel and they said something about an Army Wife coming on to talk about a book that she wrote while her husband was deployed in Iraq... So I was like WOW I have to watch this BECAUSE I have been looking for a book SORDA like this for me to read before and during my husbands deployment... So I continued to watch and she (Sara) ws saying that she would be on Fort Hood to do a book sigining... Well I thoguht that Sara said on a Tuesday and I had to work that day BUT I had already made plans with my mom and sister to go that weekend so I figured that they would be selling it in the PX and I would just look around for it... Well that weekend FINALLY came and my mom and sister and I headed to post.. ( I live in a small town outside of post its like a 30-45 min drive MAYBE) so anyways I was just looking around and getting randum stuff just blowing time at the PX and then I rememberd to look in the book section for that book. BUT I couldn't remeber the name NOR the AUTHOR!!! I was freaking out and I was exhusted seing that I am 6 months pregnant my mom could tell I was getting tired and ready to go HOME so she was like come on Robin we will look it up online... Well on the way to check out and purchase all my goodies my brother in law said "Hey Robin isent that the the girl from the news?" I looked over and STARTED FREAKEN out.. IT WAS HER she was there on a Saturday!!!! I ran over introduced myself and said "I WANT ONE OF YOUR BOOKS"!!! I have been looking for one FOREVER!!!! We talked about her news brodcast she signed my book and I walked around that table to pay and she asked me to sign a piece of paper. So I grabed the clip board AND I WAS NUMBER ONE!!! I was the first one to purchase HER BOOK!!! I was fraking out!!! HaHa lets say I get a kick out of the littles things!!! I then toke a picture with her and said goodbye and then started reading her book and I couldnt put it down tell I was finished!! Awsome BOOK!!!! Also I went to the Wal-Mart right outside of post (if you have been to Fort Hood you probly KNOW the wal-mart I am talking about) to print our picture I had just taken with Sara and YOU WOULDNT BELIVE how many people where in there IN UNIFORM!!! I guess they get sick of being on post all the time?? I dont know but it struck me as odd....

I didn't see her on the upcoming author board. I didn't realize she was in town. How is the book thus far? I read the book "the long road home" or something like that.

Mrs. Wills,
Don't worry about watching FOX News. They tell it like it is & are very supportive of the military & our commitment in Iraq & Afghanistan. Unlike most of the other networks they cover the good news too. It's amazing how the other channels distort the war news. All doom & gloom. The leftist NY Times finally admitted that the surge is working!

Exactly - I can't stand CNN... (ie: communist news network) and others... Fox is the only one I would watch. Oh, and I like Glenn Beck too... and he is on CNN... hahaha

Back in the days of our former president it was the Clinton News Network.

Glenn Beck is cool. Nice 1st name, too. Even spells it right!
