Ok...

So I want some feedback/assistance... for those of you who have had experiences with the FRG... reply with things you LOVED that your FRG leader/team did... and things that happened that you HATED and how you WISH they would have been handled.

Thanks bunches...

It's good that you and all the good ppl at FRG's are out there working and helping out with the pre deployment and deployment issues concerning all our families...I think there should be the same effort on the returning troopers...after the fact...

There's over 300,000 U.S. troops who are suffering from major depression or post traumatic stress from serving in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan,...My dad and brothers and my cousin Donnie and friends were ok...Still you never know unless the trooper and his family know what to look for and to realize there's support groups out there just waiting to help returning troopers.....

Just a thought....

When they found out that a spouse was "misbehaving", they, as a group, tried to counsel the spouse. Someone else was behaving badly and refused to clean up their act, so the group let the Chaplain and the rear-D CO know what was going on so they'd be prepared and kept an eye on the situation when the unit returned.

They weren't spying on each other. Spouses who do wrong usually aren't subtle about it.

The only experience I have had has been online. I like that they have links to each unit so the information is relevant to your soldier. Also, on the reunion information (yes they will be home this summer) they didn't forget about those of us who are not near to base. Good luck with your duties! You will be great at it. Just don't wear yourself out.

So you are glad they confronted and tried to help? Or did you feel that wasn't there place?

I am not doing anything with ours yet. They are pulling the frg together. I just heard something things and now I am trying to get feedback and experiences... before I get involved and whatnot. I LOVE their website too. Great information. I hope our FRG will be pulled together and handled well. I am all for information.

WEAR myself out??? The only thing that wears out these days are my UNDIES --- ROFL... that's why I don't wear any. hehehe (jk) Well, I will try to not. We have a lot going on this year that's for sure.
