I think this is what you maybe referring to...

http://daccessdds.un.org/doc/RESOLUT...df?OpenElement

http://daccessdds.un.org/doc/UNDOC/G...df?OpenElement

However, you could research the ceasefire declarations on

http://www.un.org/

However, that said, the Golan heights would be found on this subpage under 1967

http://www.un.org/documents/scres.htm

as it was part of the resettlement of Israel annexed terroritory over the heights which were tactically senstive to Isreal. The Egyptians and Syrians made an agressive move to destroy the Israeli state but brilliant tactics by Dyane led to a counter strike after the 1 Sanai division was mauled by the Egyptians... the mobilised IDF went onto to on it the most tatically brilliant victorys against superior numbers in that region, but obviously after action planning was replaced by subjective hysteria and the West Bank's occupation was the result of that failure ot maintain objectivity and the subsequent Palestinian woes to this day...

Its a fair deal by Israel to protect itself and offer something of value to the Syrians for peace.. Iran has different plans though, and whilst many think I am wrong about their real motives, this Israeli offer (which I was prevoiusly unaware of) will shine some light on Irans plans too... especially if the olive branch from Israel is rejected..

Youre welcome mate.. The middle east is full of radicalism, and the Jewish community has its own version of "fundamentalists", and these settlements are a product of their brand of fanatism.. The Israeli administration under Sharon ironically tried to remove them but the **** storm the radicals sturred up inside and outside the Government led them to backstep and turn a blind eye.. again.. I think its a case internally, if they could they would.. but thats bull**** in my opinion.. they should make it happen and honour their international obligations that they took on.. If the Irish Government pandered to the IRA like that, we would not likely be in existance today... Theres always a way..

Correct, excuse the pun, but the Israeli Govt has to at some point bit the bullet and put manners on the Jewish fundamentalists.. In my opinion, the longterm future stability of the Isreali State depends on it...

Your right Exo.... in my opinon its easy for a country to hide behind it past...but that only becomes credible for so long..dont get me wrong..Israels struggle over the past 60 years has been bad...but they have earned/deserve their right to exsist...just as others deserve theirs......theres an irony to the hole Israel situation

Tacky is right (again), you are a pot sturrer!!!.. Well listen up kid, and listen well!!.. Isreal has being hiding behind its past for TOO long, and the lack of control of Jewish Fundamentalists has endangered any chance of peace each and every time!!.. Im no fan of Hamas, but I like even less the spoilt, arrogant tantrums these fundementalists throw out every time there nose gets itched the wrong way!!... its a bit like your above post which brings me to the final point!!...

If you want to ever be taken seriously, DONT post like that again, and compared to you, jrj has made more sense in every post he has made.... so lay off the insults, unless you want to be hemmed up for the cheeky little **** you seem to be!!...
