Thinking about our men & women out there...
I was telling my son today when I talked to him, that I cold stand outside in my backyard under the stars and they would be the same darn stars that he was lookin at. Even though it is dark over there earlier, it don't mean that the star are not the same.
He told me he could not see the stars so he had to look at the moon. I told him i know that the moon is the same. LOL
For the first time in I don't know when I sit here in my house and it is quite. My house is never this quite. I feel like it is to let me have a chance to understand how I feel and know that there are thousands of our boys over there. I know that each and everyone of them have somebody else back...
My son has the back of somebody else son or daughter. I know that he will do all he needs to do to make sure he is ok... I am sure that who ever has my sons back has him. I can't worrie about anymore. Everybody comes no mater what!
I am so proud of the men and women we have fighting for us today... They fight so that we can keep what we have and so that other can have it too. FREEDOM!
Thanks for giving me a place I can do what I have just done spaek my mind...

Quiet is good. It doesn't happen around here too often. When it does, it doesn't take long before I am ready for the noise again. Find some hobbies to make the time go faster. If you were closer I would loan you a teenager!

Trust mei don't get it that often... Just last at night. I have all of the work I can deal with. I just thought it was alittle nice to think about how much they do for us, even when we don't ask them too.

The way i see it is....lets never forget.....9/11... and the 7/7 attacks in London....we are at war with these idiological madmen...who want to bring our countries down...they hate British and American freedoms...and our way of life...I was at barracks when those planes went into the towers....and in London when the bombings took place...those days will stay with me untill i die...
Your son is doing a worthwhile job serving a great country....you are proud of him...and so you should be...i have great repect for him....and that might sound crazy having never met him....but i know what its like...ive been there...
its up to good people to stand strong against this plague....and our countries are prepared to fight it when we have to
always remember 9/11 and 7/7
we didnt start this fire...but we are going to bloody well put it out
i respect you and your son for the job hes doing...

I have a picture of my husband from his last tour to the sandbox where he is standing and you see is the sky and the sand. Whenever I look at it, it reminds me of the "Somewhere Out There" song and it's cheesy but reminds me that somewhere out there, he's thinking of me and missing me.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
