Default Should a Woman be allowed to go to war?

I'm old fashioned and I don't think they should be in the military. Didn't we guys go to war to protect our families.

Absolutely! Why should genitalia stand in the way of a desire to protect one's family? "Amazon" isn't just an online store.

Its alot more than genitalia thats required. The day we see Females in Infantry assualt grps. Well I think we've lost the plot completely when that happens. They should be at home Ironing and cooking a meal maybe doing some sowing.

More proof that you're a burn-out. Who cares. In the US, women aren't fulfilling combat roles, and I'm pretty sure its like that across the board in the western hemisphere.

Yes I think Snips should go to war. They could maybe use her for target practice

Jesus, all I said was who cares if women are in the military? It's not like they're in combat. You guys are chauvinistic.

Spike, I thought you liberals were champions of "equal opportunity employment." Why side with Comrade Norm?

Id say if Boudicca held her sword upto your throat, you might have a different opinion on that in the last microsecond of your life!!... Women were not in my unit before I left, but were being introduced into the Irish Army, mixture of good reports (good solid fighters) and bad reports (whingy assed freeloaders using their gender to get what they want against an officer cadre that was afraid of being sued). More recent reports show management to have adjusted and womem to be doing a good job... and yes, they are in combat units here also... Army is not a career for all,but women who are suited should be given the same challenges as men without any of the prejudice you have showed above..

Thumbs up

Exo, you purely rock. Nowadays, though, I think Boudicca would give him a 155mm enema.
