Default SEAl vs Ranger

Got a little question here, what exactly is the difference between a SEAL and a Ranger? I've been doing a lot of reading on SEAL's, but most of what i know about Rangers are from movies and junk.
thanks.

You'll find NAVSPECWAR working mostly with SBS, not any 'ol regular RM.

i see your posts, how can you be concerned with only one force, and completely disregard the rest in the world? you act like they are the best, but my friend - it is the men which make a force great, and not only the RM have the best men

To answer your question, the force (Rangers) specializes in Airborne, light-infantry and direct action operations, conducting raids, infiltration and exfiltration by air, land or sea, airfield seizure, recovery of personnel and special equipment, and support of general purpose forces (GPF) among others. Each Ranger Battalion can deploy anywhere in the world with 18 hours notice.
I will not go into SEALs, since you know about them.

Yet another display of your ignorance...You don't become a Seal or Ranger without every kind of strength

and where would you see rangers or seals? you can't travel anywhere without your "mum" holding your hand
