China invades Tawain?Yes or No?
If so the US and its allies get involved?
If so a possible chance of WWIII?

depends grately from the political views inside the
Chinease goverment. if they want to keep
their trade relations and diplomatic status
intact the invasion seems unlikely.
then again. If they they feel
its worth it... hmmh...



As the article applyed... the remarks of the General
were he's own.. and not the official stand of Chinease
Goverment.

but in case of Chinas invasion to Taiwan.. and the western
allies interveaning... there could be a serious mess.
not just in this case but allways when there is
nations with nuclear weapons on the opposite
sides of the conflict.. still.. nukes are more
political weapons nowadays than standard
way to make war.. for obvious reasons..

WW3? i doubt it.. fullscale World War
with todays weaponry is more than
likely to lead in the destruction
of most of that which we call human civilisation.

China wouldnt have a chance against US and its allies especially if GB tags along. With the two best militaries in the world.

immature thoughts at best.. perhaps you don't see it but the war in iraq has left your
country hands full of work... and Iraq was a nation softened to soup already
by commercial blockades and the desertstorm.

China is something very different.
even if there would be a conflict..
and U.S. would win it.. the war
would tax both countrys to
the middle ages....
+ the possibility of people
dying in millions.

this is a conflict to be solved by political and peaceful means..

(i think my country would probably be more than happy to host the negotiations.

Taiwan is a republic of China and so inevitably will be governed from the mainland at some point in the future ,as it was in the past . It's just a question of time . When Communism is pronounced redundant the two republics will merge .
The U.S has no quarrel with an amicable resolution to the problem .
