Aric Almirola Fights Through Adversity at Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (Army News Service, Aug. 27, 2007) - Starting at the rear of the field plus a lack of early cautions handicapped Aric Almirola in Saturday night's Nextel Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The end result was a 36th-place finish for the 23-year-old driver, who was making his second career Cup start and his first with the U.S. Army race team.

MNC-I Exceeds Retention Goal

Multi-National Corps-Iraq retention goals for fiscal year 2007 were met Aug. 15, more than six weeks ahead of schedule. Weve actually exceeded the goals, said Army Master Sgt. Connie Davis, MNC-I command career counselor. It was met today and we exceeded it already in our traditional categories.
