During a recent site-check of schools in Hawijah and Riyadh, Lt. Col. Christopher Vanek, commander, 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regt., 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, met with the staff and visited with students at both sites for updates regarding the pilot literacy program underway there.
